Cypress Concerts on the Green Series Begins Saturday June 9

On Saturday, June 9th, Sounds of Cypress Orchestra will be the first for nine 2012 Concerts on the Green performances and will be  performing “Hit Parade”, a pops concert of #1 hits from the 40’s through today.  Highlights will include hits from your favorite musicals, films, television, and popular songs.  This is a concert for the entire family that is filled with a variety of music for all.

We will be giving out free giveaway items to both adults and children on Saturday, June 9th!! Supplies are limited.

Concerts begin at 6:00pm and are held at the Cypress Civic Center.  Concerts are free to all in attendance.  Free parking is available at the Civic Center parking lot.  Handicapped parking is provided behind the Cypress Branch Library near the concert site. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, picnic blankets and other outdoor accessories to help enjoy music under a canopy of shade trees but are asked to not set up until Friday at 2:00pm.  Refreshments are available from local community service organizations for a small charge.  Patrons are reminded that no alcoholic beverages are allowed on City property.
